Jim has been in industry for more than 40 years with insurance carriers and agencies and has served the Willamette Valley since 1999. Like Chris, he is a Montana native and he and his wife Gina enjoy fishing, boating, and Jim also enjoys climbing Mount Hood!

Cody joined CBI in the spring of 2024 after having a bit of a renaissance career involving alarm system and vacuum sales, window washing, skateboarding, and even modeling with the IMG Agency. Cody worked at Bankers Life before breaking out on his own and later joining CBI. Cody is a Willamette Valley native and now a McMinnville resident, attended Chemeketa College, and is one of the most positive people you'll ever meet!

Jessica is our Lead Receptionist with over 20 years of customer service experience, ranging from the food & wine industry to working primarily in medical offices for the last decade. Raised in McMinnville, and its community being close to her heart, the opportunity to continue to serve the local area through health insurance was a great fit! Elaine is the most senior member of our team having joined CBI in 2016! Born in Washington, she has been in McMinnville since 1990 and has held various positions with local businesses including the Sage restaurant, MD Advancements, and several senior living communities. Elaine enjoys travel, near and abroad, with trips including Israel, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Alaska!

Chris Browne retired?! So who's running the show? That would be Jim Myers! He's taken up the mantle to continue Chris's long-standing service in the McMinnville and surrounding communities.
Joining Chris Browne Insurance in July of 2021 as Principal Owner and Agent, Jim, along with his partners, "recognized the goodwill and overriding value" of the work Chris Browne has done over the years for so many people, both personally and professionally. "Chris was highly specialized and for more than 30 years she provided a very personal touch in customizing solutions for her clients," said Jim. "In recognition of that, we chose to keep the agency name and our promise is to continue to serve the community in this tradition."
Drawing upon his own forty-plus years of insurance experience, Jim is well positioned to do so. He has worked in several disciplines within the industry from the ground up, including operational oversight of claims, membership, customer service, care management, product development, and sales and marketing. Most recently he was the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for ATRIO Health Plans, a local Oregon-based Medicare Advantage plan. Throughout, his focus has always been on service to the customer, which is one key reason why Chris chose Jim and his organization to take over her agency. "At the end of the day," jim said, "we want our clients to feel they better understand their options and are comfortable that they can make an informed choice about which plan(s) best fit their coverage, access, and budget needs. We also want them to know we're right here to support them if they run into any concerns down the road."
Having recently moved the agency from a small shared office space on 2nd Avenue, Jim and fellow agent, Tiffany Meyer, and their growing team, are now enjoying their new offices on NE Lafayette Avenue (in the old Morris Cleaning building). The move allowed them to expand to have more space for private offices and group meetings/workshops, more off-street parking with handicap access, and no steps or stairs.
Serving a client base that spans throughout the Willamette Valley, as well as the greater Portland area and the Oregon coast, Chris Browne Insurance has grown significantly, often by just upon word-of-mouth referrals. Many clients, trusted family members, friends, and coworkers have passed along their strong recommendation, "You need to go see Chris Browne Insurance!"
"We love what we do," says Tiffany, "and we love our business, our clients, and our communities!"
Reflecting on his past experience, Jim states confidently, "I wouldn't trade any of it for what I have today. Helping people get the most from their insurance in a way that leaves them feeling supported and with the peace of mind knowing that their health, or that of their loved ones, their income, and their assets are protected, makes for an invaluable life purpose!"
